Meadow Way
Connected homes shaped by green infrastructure
Broadgate Homes appointed 24/Three to develop proposals for a sustainable residential scheme delivering 230 homes on a constrained brownfield site off Meadow Way and Hawthorn Bank in Spalding. Currently progressing through planning, the development is designed to support local housing demand while strengthening connections to the wider community, surrounding amenities and Broadgate Homes’ adjacent residential development.
The scheme has been carefully planned to be delivered across three construction phases, responding to the operational requirements and ongoing live use of the site. The proposals provide a mix of one to four-bedroom homes, ranging from one to three storeys, including both affordable and open market housing. Throughout the masterplanning process, careful consideration was given to site constraints, local character and the creation of a cohesive and well-connected neighbourhood.
24/Three’s planning and visualisation services helped communicate a landscape-led vision for the development, with green infrastructure, public open spaces and pedestrian and cycle routes integrated throughout the masterplan. Environmental considerations, including sustainable drainage systems and biodiversity enhancements, were embedded within the proposals to create an accessible, attractive and environmentally responsive residential environment.
“24/Three worked closely with us throughout the development of the proposals, providing clear and well-considered planning, masterplanning and visualisation support at every stage. Their collaborative approach, understanding of the site constraints and ability to balance commercial considerations with design quality helped shape a strong and deliverable scheme. The team consistently communicated well, responded proactively and added real value throughout the process.”
