24/Three was set up in 2021 and has grown organically – thanks to our expertise in residential masterplanning and our ethos of ‘designing to build’.

We get this question a lot! Our director, Shelly, wanted to honour his family and the place where he first saw development take shape – back in Sri Lanka, where he grew up. The site’s address was “24 upon 3,” written as 24/3, which inspired the name 24/Three.

24/Three was established to positively shape the spaces we live in. Responding to a gap in the sector - where design is often disconnected from delivery and viability requirements of housebuilders - the practice is grounded in a ‘designing to build’ ethos.
We have built a strong reputation across the residential spectrum, from masterplanning to delivery on multi-phase schemes, private homes, PBSA and BTR developments.
We design and deliver imaginative, practical projects that embed creativity, quality and deliverability from the outset.

We have two office bases in Newark and Northampton, with our work spanning the Midlands and East Anglia.

We are an SME and BME company consisting of a diverse team of masterplanners, architects, technologists and designers based across our Newark and Northampton offices. We hand-pick our team to ensure everyone fits with our people-first culture and a shared commitment to collaboration.
Many of our people come from housebuilder backgrounds, giving us first-hand insight into developer priorities and where design can add real value. We share a strong belief in the role well-designed homes play in shaping resilient communities and wider society.
