East Stoke

The proposal seeks to draw precedence from a traditional farmhouse courtyard design serving three detached units.

The Brownfield site is constrained by its sensitive conservation area and being adjacent to a registered battlefield.

The impact of the proposal is minimalised by the unit next to the battlefield being single storey with windows formed within a recessed form. The local vernacular acts as a further influence with the use of half hipped roofs with pantiles and timber cladded facades.
