Sheleendra Fernando
Director

BArch MArch DipArch ARB RIBA MCIOB FRSA

I am a firm believer in working collaboratively to deliver projects in the most risk adverse and moral way. It is important to consider the implications of a project at the start and throughout, but most importantly the context and the final impact on the user.

In my spare time I love to cook and spend time with my family, whilst indulging on an unhealthy obsession with Kentucky fried chicken.

Ian Powell
Director

BA (Hons) MA

I believe that our industry has a moral obligation to consciously, and consistently, apply our skills to everyday problems that improve the environments in which people work and live. Great design and considered solutions can; change a mood, frame a view, encourage roots, and end an argument. What greater career legacy could I hope to leave.

In my spare time I build dens for my children and dream of the days when I used to be able to exercise without pain.

Kaissa Tait
Project Architect

As an architect I enjoy the process (and challenges) of turning conceptual ideas into built reality. I also have a strong interest in how communities can be designed to be more sustainable, and how existing buildings can be adapted to suit the challenges of Climate Change and the changing patterns of how we live and work.

In my spare time I like to take my young son on trips in our campervan (previous destinations include the New Forest, Norfolk, Suffolk and France), and taking the dog for long rambling walks through the countryside.

Architectural Technologist

I believe the power of architecture inspires cultural creativity and allows people to interact in meaningful ways. My inspiration for design comes from people, context, history, and the environment. I have a passion for interpreting ideas and creating innovative, sustainable, aesthetically pleasing design solutions whilst also maintaining form and function.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and travelling. I particularly like to engage in outdoor activities with my two sons.

Julia Radka
Architect

BArch MArch DipArch ARB RIBA

I’m not just an architect, I’m a design enthusiast who thrives on the entire creative spectrum. Whether I’m sketching out masterplan concepts or diving into the nitty-gritty of on-site construction challenges, I bring a perfect blend of creativity and precision. My profile is a fusion of passion and technical finesse, shaping architectural solutions that go beyond the ordinary.

In the little spare time I have left outside of working, and the chaotic life of being a toddler-parent, I love experimenting with inventive recipes in the kitchen and spilling my thoughts and emotions on canvas.

Kashisha Pal
Architectural Assistant

BArch RIBA

I advocate for a design approach that acknowledges and addresses the historical and social significance of architecture within its context. Central to my design principles is a focus on understanding the community's requirements, while also striving for a unified design. In my professional capacity, my goal is to safeguard historical elements, craft inclusive environments, and elevate the overall spatial ambiance of a site.

Away from my desk, I am passionate about sketching, exploring new places, and learning new languages.

Mark Crocker
Masterplanning Architect

BA (Hons), Dip Arch, PG.Dip Arch. ARB. RIBA

As a designer we in the privileged position to influence the lives, both directly and indirectly, of so many people, by contributing to the environment we all live in. It is a great feeling to return to a completed scheme and say " yes that really works!"

In my spare time I enjoy my family life and my love of motorsport, particularly motorcycling. A bit of goalkeeping, and walking the dogs, are now my only forms of exercise, but I am concerned that golf is now looking more appealing.

Jan Reeve
Architectural Technician

I’ve always loved classic design. A design that looks clean, elegant, even simplistic will forever be impressive – especially where these attributes are combined with functionality. Buildings designed in this way often hide the amount of thought and care required to bring it to life. This is something I remind myself of when the design process becomes difficult. Ultimately – the design journey is worth embracing and cherishing.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and the occasional moment of quiet with a few favourite albums.

I am here to greet everyone into the office and sniff out the competition. I am well known for my strong handshake but will expect treats as a reward. My job also involves checking drawings and giving my paw of approval.

When I’m not in the office I enjoy long walks with my family. My hobbies include running, gardening and napping. Unfortunately, dieting is my biggest weakness.
