Serving up sunshine and smashes: Our 24/Three padel tournament

In June, we hosted our first 24/Three padel tournament at the Nottingham Padel Centre, bringing together clients, friends and colleagues for a sunny afternoon of sport, connection and, most importantly, competition!

The weather couldn’t have been better - bright skies and warm sunshine made for the perfect setting to try our hand at this fast-paced and increasingly popular sport. After a few warm-up drills to loosen limbs and settle nerves, our mini tournament was underway.

Games came thick and fast, with plenty of energy, laughter and some genuinely impressive shots (plus a few we’ll happily forget). As the afternoon progressed, the rallies grew longer, tactics crept in, and we discovered that padel reveals more natural-born strikers than expected.

Congratulations go to Millward, who claimed the winner’s title with consistent and well-earned victories throughout the day. An honourable mention goes to the team from Chord Consult, who battled their way to the final and gave a strong account of themselves. We hugely value the relationships behind these matches - it was brilliant to celebrate teamwork and camaraderie both on and off the court.

We wrapped up in true 24/Three style - with cold drinks, good pizza and plenty of post-match chat (some of which may or may not have included tactical analysis and talk of rematches).

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day such a success. We loved hosting and are already looking forward to the next one!

Until then – game, set and slice.
